This tee captures the big idea behind my song Playing Hookey, that white Jesus is the mascot of racist theologies that have been passed down from colonizers of the 13th century to today’s evangelical megachurches. In the name of white Jesus, they stand against, or refuse to join, revolutionary racial justice movements. This tee is a call to break away from the colonizer's religion.
Printed on an 80/20 ring-spun cotton/poly blend. This item is print-on-demand. Please allow for an additional 2-3 days for your order to ship. Print-on-demand items are non-returnable except in the case of an item defect.

Cynthia CollettMay 5, 2022I just received this shirt today so have not worn it or washed it (and it is still a bit cool for tee shirts in Canada). The shirt is larger than I expected (ordered a medium and seems more like a large) but I don't mind. If you like a more snug fit, I would suggest ordering a size smaller. The material and print appear to be excellent quality. I really love the statement (I broke up with white Jesus a long time ago) and will be proudly wearing this as soon as Canadian weather permits!
